Hey, I’m Taylor.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. I offer individual therapy for adults seeking a thoughtful, supportive space for reflection and self-understanding.
My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I believe our relationships can offer valuable insight into who we are and how we navigate the world, and that this understanding can support meaningful change.
I also emphasize acceptance and exploring how past experiences, including those outside of our awareness, may continue to shape the present.
My Approach
My Experience
I have been practicing for five years. I was drawn to this work early on through my experiences working with children in schools and summer camps, where I became interested in understanding emotions, feelings, and how to be genuinely helpful. That curiosity ultimately led me to pursue a career in therapy.
Since then, I have worked in a range of settings, including universities, outpatient clinics, and private practices. I have supported a diverse group of individuals around concerns such as anxiety, life transitions, athletics, relationship challenges, chronic illness, among others.

Specialties
I have a special interest in working with current and former athletes as they navigate changes in their relationship with sport. This may include retirement from athletics due to injury, a season ending, or simply falling out of love with the sport. I support individuals as they explore identity, loss, and new ways of relating to themselves beyond performance.
